Mission
Collaborative Care is a holistic medical practice that generates and nurtures mindful awareness of an individual's connection to their own health and well being.
The Collaborative Care philosophy is that successful treatment requires a collaboration between patient and practitioner. The goal of treatment is to enhance your healing potential through education and empowerment.
Jacqueline N. O'Neill, MSTOM, L.Ac.
Jackie O’Neill’s earliest exposure to health care was through her father; he owned a neighborhood pharmacy in downtown Los Angeles. Jackie always knew that she wanted to be involved in medicine but it was her fascination with botany, which included planting herbal gardens, that clarified her intent. Through her burgeoning interest in medicinal plants, Jackie decided to pursue a career in Chinese medicine.
While completing her degree, Jackie worked with several practitioners who specialized in the treatment of female and male infertility. Since beginning her practice, Jackie has helped patients harness their body’s tremendous healing potential by delving beyond symptoms and addressing root causes, emotionally and physically. Her professional interests include Oriental reproductive medicine, women’s health, and dermatology.
Jackie received her Master’s Degree in Traditional Oriental Medicine from the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine where she is currently a professor of Chinese herbology. She is nationally board certified in acupuncture and Chinese herbology and currently practices in Chicago and Glenview.
